"Do you know me' - Trijntje Oosterhuis in Carré

"A gift to my father," is how singer Trijntje Oosterhuis describes the concert she gave in a packed Royal Theater Carré Amsterdam in which she only sang the songs and lyrics of her father; A musical ode to my father.

The popular singer feels blessed to have a father who is always there for her. Trijntje does not hide her appreciation for her father's immense oeuvre: 'It is beautiful how my father's lyrics manage to connect all kinds of people again and again.'

For father Huub it was a penetrating and intense experience to be put in the spotlight by his daughter in Carré surrounded by family and friends and 'fans'. 'I heard the songs often sung by choirs again in a pure and penetrating way.'
