Reports and Portraits
Some stories call for a reportage. Or for a portrait. Often they are stories within a larger story. Like the reportages and commercials I made for the Liberation Festivals of the National Committee May 4 and 5. For this organization I also made portraits of Humberto Tan, Nasrdin Char and the director of Amnesty International Eduard Nazarski about the experience of Freedom.
Sometimes stories serve to support a larger story such as reportages surrounding Marco Borsato's concerts or albums. Or a reportage in Cameroon for Babyboom in Africa for Cordaid Memisa. Or reportages in Kenya and Serbia for Dance4Live. Reports that together tell a bigger story.
